Todd Rundgren Bringing “Damned If I Do” Tour to Saginaw’s Temple Theatre

SAGINAW, Mich. — Rock musician, songwriter and producer Todd Rundgren will bring his “Damned If I Do” tour to the historic Temple Theatre in downtown Saginaw on Tuesday, Aug. 18.

The concert is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. at the Temple Theatre, 201 N. Washington Ave. Doors are expected to open at 6 p.m. Tickets for the Saginaw performance are listed at $55 through the theater.

Rundgren has maintained a wide-ranging career as a solo artist, multi-instrumentalist and record producer. His catalog includes familiar songs such as “Hello It’s Me,” “I Saw the Light” and “Can We Still Be Friends,” along with decades of experimental rock, pop and electronic music.

He was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2021 and has remained known for moving between mainstream pop and more unconventional musical projects. The Temple Theatre describes Rundgren as an artist who has avoided easy categorization throughout his career.

The Saginaw stop is one of two Michigan performances announced for the tour. Rundgren is also scheduled to appear at Bell’s Beer Garden in Kalamazoo on Aug. 17. The concerts are being presented by Kickstand Productions.

A Historic Setting in Downtown Saginaw

The Temple Theatre offers a fitting setting for an artist whose career reaches back to the late 1960s.
